MUSIC at
On Monday, December 12 the 2nd &
4th graders as well as the intermediate band, the 5th
& 6th grade chorus, and the handbell
ensemble will be performing in our Holiday Concert. The concert begins at 7:00
p.m., and all families and friends are invited to come hear the
On Tuesday, December 13
the intermediate band, 5th & 6th grade chorus and handbell ensemble will open the Senior Citizen Luncheon
with a performance of the music they presented at the evening concert. Later in
the luncheon, the kindergarten classes and the 1st graders will
provide musical entertainment. What an exciting time of the year!
The 4th grade
will be holding their next school wide Spirit Day next Tuesday, December 13!
This Spirit Day’s theme will be Holiday Hats. The 4th graders will
then be using your results to make pictographs! Remember, the class with the
most participants gets the “School Spirit” ribbon hung outside their door for
the month. Help your class, and the 4th grade, and don’t forget your
Holiday Hats on Tuesday! ~ Mrs.

The Senior Citizen Luncheon on Tuesday,
December 13. The snow date is Wednesday, December 14. Guests who have made
reservations can begin arriving at the school at 11a.m. The event will begin at
11:30am., and should conclude around 1pm.

Seminar Healthy Living: Are you 60 or older and looking for an opportunity to learn how to stay
healthy and meet new people? Join us on Friday, December 16 at the Stillwater
Fire Dept. from 9:30AM-12:30PM. Topics will include: Safe Medication Use;

Baby Sitter Training: What
you need to know and what every parent wants in a safe and responsible
babysitter can be learned through the American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training
course. The fee for this course is $85. The program
is designed for 11 to 15 year olds. Class will be on Thursday, December
29 (on holiday break) from 9am to 3:30pm. Registration is required and can be
done by calling 1-800-REDCROSS or online at www.redcross.org.

winter running program for girls and boys in first grade. Practices will be held on Thursdays from

organizing, and running the Crafter/Vendor Fair this year! Cheryl’s dedication
to this event is what made it possible for the crafters and vendors to offer
everyone some wonderful gift choices for this holiday season. She did a
wonderful job pulling this event together! A thank you also goes out to anyone
who pitched in to give Cheryl a hand. Thank You to all of the Crafters/Vendors
who brought their talents to the Fair. We hope everyone enjoyed the
evening and also enjoys their purchases. THANK YOU CHERYL!!!

FAMILY FUN NIGHT/MOVIE NIGHT: TONIGHT IS MOVIE NIGHT!!! The evening
begins at 7 pm in the All Purpose Room, where the children will have an awesome
time dancing to the Wii on the large movie
screen. The movie will begin following a fun dance session. We will
be watching A Christmas Carol...a wonderful movie that is not just about the
holiday season, but also teaches us how our past, present, and future actions
can either have us living a sad and lonely life, or a wonderful and happy life,
it’s all up to us! Such a wonderful message to teach our children.
Popcorn and bottled water will be available. Bring your chairs, blankets,
pillows, etc...and enjoy the movie! FOR
THE SAFETY OF ALL, THIS IS NOT A
DROP-OFF EVENT. WE ASK THAT ALL PARENTS OR ADULT GUARDIANS PLEASE REMAIN
WITH THE CHILDREN SO THAT THEY, AND EVERYONE ELSE IN ATTENDANCE, MAY ENJOY THE

some new classes have moved into the top 3 slots. Keep clipping and bringing in
those boxtops! Remember,
each one is worth 10 cents for our school. Each bundle of 50 earns $5 for our
PTA! The contest lasts all year! The top 3 Homerooms are: 4th grade
– Mrs. Bickhardt; 6th grade – Ms. Conry and 3rd grade – Ms. Mosner.
